A Message from our President

An Exciting Time at SPX Filtran!

Thanks to our outstanding people and world class technology, SPX Filtran is busy launching an unprecedented number of new programs at all Filtran locations world wide. SPX Filtran made a commitment to establish a global presence in order to best serve our customer base, which is also expanding globally. This requires a great deal of coordination and training as we work to maintain consistent quality and business systems. It is through this commitment that our customers receive the same level of high quality and service no matter which location is serving them.

To support our global strategy, we launched a new state of the art manufacturing facility in 2006 in Beijing, China. In our plant in Lugoff, South Carolina, we transformed our operations to be a supplier of the global OE automotive customers. Finally, in Japan, we are expanding our sales and engineering office to support the needs of our growing Japanese customer base.

We realize we must continue to improve everything we do, everyday. This is why SPX Filtran is committed to involving all employees in our lean continuous improvement initiatives. Through intensive training and practice our employees are constantly improving our business processes.

At SPX Filtran people really do drive our success, which is why we continue to invest in the best possible training and development. With high quality training and development programs we are committed to giving people the right tools and knowledge to achieve success. Our worldwide presence also provides potential opportunity for employees to participate in global rotational roles. These experiences have provided several people outstanding career development, along with a better understanding of the different cultures around the world.
